Tuesday evening at 9:06pm the station along with Engine & Rescue 44 and Ladder 46 were dispatched for the small non-dwelling fire at Hanover Foods at 77 W. Duck Creek Rd. Responding units were advised there were conflicting reports between a small building or grass on fire. Engine 45-3 w/6, Deputy Chief Alex Carrow arrived to find a 20'x30' storage building with a small fire in the roof area. Also responding were Engine 45-4 w5 Assistant Chief Jeff Lightcap, Quint 45 w/5 FF Jason Sacco, Rescue 45 w/6 FF Roland Timmons and Engine 44-4. Crews extinquished the fire on the roof of the building along with fire in a marshy area next to the building. The Delaware State Fire Marshal also responded. Deputy Chief Carrow had the command.
