Engine 45-5 (Retired 2003)
Monday, July 14, 1980

1980 Ward LaFrance Pumper, 1000 gallons of water, 1500 gpm Hale single stage pump, deck gun, 28' extensions ladder, 14' roof ladder, 1000' of 3.5" supply line, 500' of 3" supply line, 200' of 2.5" pre-connect hand line, 400' of 1.5" pre-connect hand line. Crew of 11 w/5 SCBA's.  Engine was refurbished in 1993 where the jumpseats were enclosed and extensive bodywork was done.  Engine was donated to the Blue Jay Fire Dept in North Carolina in 2006.  Last Ward Lafrance Engine owned by the company and one of the last Ward Lafrance engines ever built.  The production was begun at the Ward LaFrance facility in New York State and completed at the Maxima Fire Apparatus when they bought out Ward LaFrance.
