~~Wednesday morning at 9:54am the station along with Ladder Co. Sta 44 were dispatched for the house fire in the 100 Block of Hawk Creek Drive in Providence Crossing. Responding units were advised the caller was reporting her oven on fire. Engine 45-3 w/4, Assistant Chief Robbie Johnson and Quint 45 w/5, Captain Alex Carrow arrived the engine crew secured the water supply and stretched the line while the truck threw ladders and checked for extensions. Crews quickly located a contained fire in the oven and reported under control. Chief Johnson placed the scene under control and held the engine and ladder. Engine 45-4 w/5, Chief Carrow and Ladder 44 w/Capt. Eric Neeld also responded. Assistant Chief Johnson had the Providence Crossing Command. Clayton had 22 members respond on the call.
