Clayton Fire Chief Skip Carrow stated "we do a good job of training our firefighters but we need to do a better job of giving our line officers ongoing training" On Sunday Nov 20, 2016 the Delaware State Fire School assisted the Clayton Fire Company officers and three officers from Citizen's Hose Co. worked a train vs. truck accident table top exercise. The officers worked the incident from the start to the finish incorporating the "ICS" incident command system. At the conclusion the exercise was critiqued by the instructors and class.
