BRUSH AND ENGINE GOES TO HARTLY FOR LARGE OUTSIDE FIRE

Saturday afternoon at 1:32pm the station was dispatched to assist Station 51 with the large outside fire in the 2400 block of Fords Corner Rd. Brush 45 w/3 Assistant Chief Robbie Johnson and Engine 45-5 (46-7) w/6, Captain Alex Carrow arrived to find Hartly units with a field and woods fire. Crews from both units went to work with units to confine and extinguish the remaining fire. Crews operated for a little over and hour. The station had an additional crew in the station while the units were committed on the call. Captain Danny Fox had the Hartly Command. Clayton had 19 members respond on the call.
