Our very own, Nancy Scotton was presented with the DVFALA Hall of Recognition Award for Kent County on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the Ladies Luncheon. This is the Highest Honor given to one lady per county at the annual State Conference. Nancy joined the Clayton Ladies Auxiliary on March 19, 1959. She is the only Charter member that still is active as of today. She has been extremely active for a total of 55 years. She has served our auxiliary in an excellent fashion through the years by holding the following officer positions…..President: 15 years, Vice-President: 1 year, Secretary: 7 years, Assistant Secretary: 1 year, Treasurer: 2 years, & Assistant Treasurer: 2 years. Nancy has been honored to be selected as Kent County Auxiliary Member of the Year and also Clayton Fire Company Auxiliary Member of the year in 2012. She has worked very hard with her dedication shown through her years of active service. She continues to give to the Auxiliary in any capacity that she can willingly and with compassion. Nancy works with pride and harmony alongside her fellow auxiliary members helping things to take shape for the good of the organization. We are very proud to have her on our team of outstanding women and men that are part of the Auxiliary! Congratulations Nancy Lee!
