ENGINE 45-4 FOR SALE

With the recent order placed for a new engine placed and expected delivery in the spring of 2018 the company is in the process of selling Engine 45-4.  Engine 45-4 is a 1998 Spartan Fererra pumper with; 1000 gallon poly tank, 1250 Hale single stage pump, 5kw diesel generator, Cummins 300 hp diesel motor, Allison 3000 5 speed automatic transmission, 14,600 Lb. front axle, 22,000 Lb. rear axle, 200' of 1.00" rubber booster line & nozzle on an electric rewind reel, 200' of 20 amp electric line on an electric rewind reel, 100' of hydraulic line on an electric rewind reel, 250 Lb. pull out tray in rear compartment, has approximately 39,322 miles (still in service) and approximately 2,786 hours on the apparatus (still in service). The truck will be sold with the following equipment; 1100' of 4" rubber supply line, 200' of 2" double jacket poly attack line, 650' of 1.75" double jacket poly attack line, 35' aluminum extension ladder, 14' aluminum roof ladder, 10' aluminum collapsible attic ladder, dry chemical and water extinguishers, electric operated smoke ejector and assorted hand tools and nozzles. chrome bell on front bumper will not be sold with apparatus.  The engine is DOT inspected and pump tested yearly and will be completed in the fall of 2017.  Asking price is $60,000.00.  Truck will be available in the spring of 2018.  For questions or to inspect the truck please contact Chief Wes Davis, Deputy Chief Alex Carrow or Chief Engineer Roland Timmons at 302-653-7317.
