RESCUE AND ENGINE GO TO MILLINGTON FOR AUTO ACCIDENT WITH VEHICLE OVERTURNED

Thursday afternoon at 3:18pm Rescue and Engine 45 were dispatched to assist Kent County Md Station 2 Millington on the auto accident with a vehicle overturned in the 33000 block of Cypress Road.  Rescue 45 w/7, Lt. Jonathan Burnett and Engine 45-4 w/6, Chief Wes Davis made the response within a few minutes and arrived to find Millington units and Queen Annes County Paramedics on scene with a vehicle on its side with the occupient egrees challenged. The crew from Millington went to work stabilizing the vehicle while EMS began treating the patient.  Clayton units arrived with the crew from the rescue placing their rescue tools in service for a roof removal.  Prior to completing the roof removal crews were able to safely remove the victim out the rear hatch on the vehicle.  The patient was turned over to EMS for treatment and transport.  Millington Lt. Randy Smoot had the command.  Clayton units were back in quarters in about an hour.  Units responding KCMD Rescue 2, Engine 2, Ambulance 2, QACMD Medic 600, Rescue 45 and Engine 45-4.  Photo's courtesy Joe Jones Sta 45.
