Monday morning at 07:31 the station along with Engine 44 and Ladder 46 were dispatched for the small non dwelling fire at 208 S Rodney St. Engine 45-3 with w/5 Captain Jack Davis arrived to find a detached two car garage with smoke showing from the attic area. The crew secured a water supply and stretched a line. Quint 45 w/5, Asst. Chief Jeff Lightcap and Command 45 w/ Chief Wes Davis arrived the crew from the quint performed a search and opened up for the engine company. Police pm scene reported after the arrival of the fire department that a homeless person might be living in the garage, Searches came up negative. Engine 44-3 w/ Asst. Chief Tyler Torres and Engine 45-4 w/3, Deputy Chief Alex Carrow arrived and both crews assisted with checking for extension and overhaul. Crews located a small fire in the attic area and made quick work of it. The Delaware State Fire Marshals Office was on scene and are investigating. Captain Jack Davis had the command.
