Monday evening at 6:48pm the station along with Ambulance 43, KM6,KM5 and Trooper 4 were alerted for the MVC with a vehicle reported overturned on Mount Friendship Road in the area of the entrance to Timber Mills. With members in the station for the weekly work detail that was getting ready to start and drivers taking part in training on the new engine, Command 45 w/Deputy Chief Alex Carrow, Rescue 45 w/8. Captain Austin Moorhead, Engine 45-4 w/8, Assistant Chief Jeff Lightcap and Brush 45 w/5, Chief Wes Davis were on the street in a minute. Crews arrived to find a single vehicle that had overturned and up righted itself. EMS crews evaluated the occupants who later refused transport while crews from the apparatus secured the vehicle.
