LADDER AND ENGINE GO TO ODESSA FOR A 2 ALARM MULTI FAMILY DWELLING FIRE

Thursday afternoon at 1:13pm the station was dispatched for the engine and ladder along with tanker and engine 44 to assist New Castle County Odessa on the Muti Residental Dwelling Fire in the 900 black of Lansdowne Road.  Quint 45 w/5, Deputy Chief Alex Carrow and Engine 45-2 w/4, Past Chief Jeff Hurlock arrived to find MOT units with several lines in service in a townhouse on fire.  The crew from Quint 45 went to work throwing ground ladders to the Charlie Side and then went to the second floor to open up for the engine companies and later assisted with overhaul.  The crew from Engine 45-2 checked the D1 exposure for extension.
