During the June Company Meeting Scholarship Committee Chairman Leslie Pope announced Karley Womax as the 2018 winner of the Linda Lightcap Memorial Award. The scholarship was named after Linda Lightcap a member of the Clayton Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary who suddenly passed away over 20 years ago. Karley is the daughter of Associate Member Kristy Womax and Paul Womax and the sister of Firefighter Ryan Womax. Karley will be attending Delaware Technical School in the fall majoring in Education. The company would like to congratulate Karley and wish her good like in the next chapter of her life.
