Friday morning at 11:37am the station was dispatched along with Station 44 for the Commerical Structure Fire at 76 E. Glenwood Ave in the Smyrna Mart Shopping Center. Quint 45 w/4, Deputy Chief Alex Carrow made the response and arrived to find a one story Strip Mall with nothing evident from the exterior. They were follwed by Engine 44-2, 45-2 w/6, Asst. Chief John Pridemore and 44-3. Crews encounter light smoke in the nail salon and after checking the interior and roof narrowed the source down to a HVAC unit on the roof.
