Back to back alsrms started out the day for the volunteers at Clayton. The first call for a Fire Alarm going off in a residence came in at 11:10am for 3922 Wheatleys Pond Road. Engine 45-2 w/5, Captain Austin Moorhead, Quint 45 w/5 Assistant Chief Jeff Lightcap and Engine 45-3 with 5, Captain Craig Snyder arrived one after each. The crew form 45-2 and Quint 45 checked the interior while 45-3 stood by the hydrant at the entrance to Providence Crossing. Crews located an a smoke detector malfunctioning on the second floor. Captain Moorhead had the Clayton Command. While returning from the Fire Alarm the station along with Rescue Company 44 were dispatched for the trailer fire at 2 Camden Circle in Clayton Courts, responding units were advised caller was reporting an electric meter attached to the trailer smoking. Engine 45-2, Quint 45, Engine 45-3 arrived with 45-2 securing the water supply and stretching a handline, Quint 45 handled the primary search and checked the interior for extension. The scene was quickly placed under control. Rescue 44 also made the response but was cancelled enroute. Captain Moorhead had the Clayton Command.
