VEHICLE ACCIDENT WITH A SUBJECT EJECTED

Sunday night at 10:45pm the station along with Ambulance 64, KM6, KM5 and Trooper 4 were dispatched for a auto accident with a vehicle overturned and a subject ejected at 1200 block of Mount Friendship Road.  Command 45 w/Assistant Chief Jeff Lightcap and Rescue 45 w/5, Captain Jack Davis arrived with EMS and found a vehicle off the oradway with the occupant out of the vehicle.  EMS began patient care while the crew from Rescue 45 checked the surrounding area for a possible 2nd occupant.  Engine 45-3 w/4, Deputy Chief Alex Carrow arrived and that crew secured the vehicle.  Brush 45 w/4, Firefighter Mark Harris was canceled prior to arrival.  One occupant was transported to KGh by B-64 with half of KM6.  Assistant Chief Lightcap had the command.  Units responding; Command 45, Rescue 45, Engine 45-3, Brush 45, B-64, A-64, KM6, Sta 45 Fire Police, DSP.  Photo's courtesy of Joe Jones.
