Tuesday evening at 6:02pm the station along with Ambulance 64, KM6, KM5 and Trooper 4 were dispatched for the auto accident with a report of a subject trapped at the intersection of Clayton Delaney Road and Alley Mill Road. Rescue 45 w/7, Assistant Chief Jeff Lightcap and Command 45 w/ Chief Wes Davis arrived with ALS to a two vehicle accident, the officer of Rescue 45 confirmed 3 patients with a subject trapped. The crew from Rescue 45 went to work stabilizing the vehicle and began extrication while EMS crews began patient care. Engine 45-3 w/6, Deputy Chief Alex Carrow and Brush 45 w/3, Captain Jack Davis arrived behind the rescue. The crew from 45-3 assisted with extrication while the crew from Brush 45 established an LZ for aviation. Extrication was completed in about 20 minutes. Two of the occupants were transported to KGH by Ambulance 64 and 26 while a child was transported to AI DuPont in Wilmington by Trooper 4.
