Wednesday March 20 right at noon the station was dispatched for the engine to cover Station 51 Hartly. Hartly, Marydel and Camden Wyoming had just been dispatched for the barn fire in the 5900 block of Westville Road. Engine 45-3 w/5 made the response and immediately after going responding was directed into the scene. Engine 45-3 arrived to find 1st alarm units on scene with several handlines in service on a fire involving a barn, several vehicles, a trailer that was threatening a second barn and a residence. The crew from 45-3 went to work with the crew from Rescue 46 to assist with fire attack. The crew form 45-3 remained on scene for almost 3 hours assisting.
