Tuesday evening Junior Member James Demczak accompied by his family and President Kevin Wilson recieved the 2019 Governors Youth Volunteer Service Award from Governor John Carney during a ceremony held at the Polytech Adult Education Center in Woodside. James was recognized for his service during the past year to the Clayton Fire Company and the Clayton Community. During the ceremony the attendee's heard a long list of James' accomplishments over the last year that included the fire calls and other events he attended in 2018 and his recent award presentations for 4 seperate Extrication Awards for serious accidents he was involved in and a Unit Citation for his part in assisting in a successful CPR save earlier this year. James becomes the first member of the company to be recognized with this award. The officers and members of the company would like to congratulate James for his worthy award.
