Sunday morning at 8:20am the station along with Ambulance 64 were dispatched for the motor vehicle accident at Millington Road @ Blackistons Crossroads. Responding units were advised the caller reported a vehicle off the roadway. Comand 45 w/ Chief Alex Carrow, Rescue 45 w/5, Assistant Chief Jeff Lightcap and Engine 45-3 w/6, Assistant Chief Joe Jones made the response. Units arrived to find a single vehicle about 300 yards off the roadway in the middle of a bean field. Crews from the R-45 and 45-3 made the long walk out to the vehicle and advised the vehicle was unoccupied and the engine cold. The scene was turned over to Clayton PD.
