For 21 years Life Member Roland Timmons has served the department as Chief Engineer and charged with the maintenance and care for the departments fleet of 5 pieces of fire equipment and 5 support pieces of equipment. He has served under 8 Fire Chiefs during his 21 years and did the majority of the work by himself. At the end of 2019 Roland will be stepping down and taking a well deserved break for his duties. During this years banquet Roland was recognized by Fire Chief alex Carrow and the 2019 Line Officers for his 21 years of dedicated service to the company. Roland will be spending more time traveling with his wife Joyce but will be assisting the incoming engineers in the future. Congratulations to Roland on his well deserved break and thank you for all the years of seeing that our equipment was always in the best possible condition and ready for service.
