This years receiptant of the Turner/Hurlock Award for Excellance in Training is Firefighter Dan Stewart. Dan who was a member several years ago and stepped down to spend more time with his family. He recently re-joined the company and after returning spent numerious hours getting himself back up to speed re-taking several courses at The Delaware State Fire School that he had all ready taken years ago and re-learning the companies policies and SOG's. Dan made every effort to get himself back up to where he was prior to stepping down. During training classes he was always one of the first to step up and help or learn. It was that attitude that made him a perfect receiptant for this award. The award was presented by Fire Chief Alex Carrow and Assistant Chief Joe Jones. Congratulations to Dan on his award.
