Tuesday morning just before lunch at 11:30am the station along with Tanker 53, Ambulance 64 and KM6 were dispatched to assist Station 44 on the house fire 90 Lawndale Dr. south Smyrna. Quint 45 w/4, Past Chief Robert Davis and Engine 45-2 w/5 Assistant Chief Joe Jones arrived to find Smyrna units with a line stretched and in service on a one story single family dwelling with smoke showing. The crew from Quint 45 went to work opening up for the engine companies while the crew from 45-2 stretched a second line. Crews made quick work of the fire while the searches were negative.
