Instructor Chris Simpson from F.A.S.T Rescue of Bridgeport, PA provided an overview of their firefighter and civilian rescue system. The system is a simple 1/2 board with pre connected straps that allow quick securement of firefighters or civilians that need to be rescued from a structure, confined sae, or other location. This ystme is very simple to use and quick. The system also comes with a strap that can be carried in a coat or on a vest that will allow rescurers to quickly remove firefighters or civilians from an area.
