Wednesday morning at 05:47 the station along with Ambulance 64, KM6 and Km5 were dispatched for the accident with injuries in front of 2974 Wheatleys Pond Road. As the units for the first accident were marking up the station was re-alerted along with Ambulance 51 for a second accident on Wheatleys Pond Road about a 1/2 mile east of the first accident. Rescue 45 w/6, Past Chief Robert Davis along with A-64, B-64 and KM6 made the response and arrived to find a two vehicle head on accident with 2 injuries. The crew from Rescue 45 went to work stabilizing and securing the vehicles while EMS crews administered care. Two subjects were transported to a local medical facility for treatment. The second accident Engine 45-3 w/5, Lt. Brian Hunter arrived to find a 2 vehicle accident with one minor injury the crew from 45-3 secured both vehicles and administered care until the arrival on B-51 and KM5. One occupant of that accident was transported to a local medical care facility for treatment. Captain Jonathan Burnett had Command of the 1st accident scene while Lt. Brian Hunter had Command of 2nd.
