SATURDAY EVENING ACCIDENT SENDS 2 TO LOCAL HOSPITAL AND ONE AIRLIFTED TO TRAUMA CENTER

Saturday evening at 5:59pm the station along with Rescue and Ambulance 51, Ambulance 64, KM6, KM5 and Trooper 4 were dispatched for the auto accident with a vehicle overturned and a subject reported trapped in the 1400 block of Blackistons Road.  Command 45 w/Deputy Chief John Pridemore, Rescue 45 w/6, Lt. Brian HUnter, Egine 45-3 w/3, Chief Alex Carrow and EMS 45 w/4, FF Frank Sacco IV made the response along with Rescue 51 w/Deputy Chief James Read and EMS assets.  Crews arrived to find 2 vehicles involved with one being on its side.  The occupant of that vehicle was outside the vehicle.  EMS crews went to work securing that vehicle, checking for additional occupants while EMS crews began treating the occupant and the two occupants of the other vehicle.  The occupant of the vehicle overturned was airpifted to CER while the other two patients were transported to a local ED for further treatment.  Deputy Chief Pridemore had the command.  Pictures courtesy; Jerry Hull, MIke Carroll and Robbie Johnson.  Units responding;  Command 45, Rescue's 45 & 51, Engine 45-3, EMS 45, B-64, B-51, KM6, KM5, Trooper 4, Sta 45 Fire Police.
