Friday morning at 11:34 the station along with Engine and Tanker 51, Engine and Ladder 43, Engine and Rescue QACMD 6, Ambulance 64 and KM6 were dispatched for the residental structure fire in the 100 block of Hopewell Dr. The fire was located in the most western part of our first due. Command 45 w/ Captain Austin Moorhead arrived to find a doublewide trailer with heavy fire through the roof. He was followed by Tanker 51 who stretched the first attack line. They were followed by Engine 45-2 w/6, Captain Jonathan Burnett and Quint 45 w/6, Past Chief Robert Davis and other first alarm companies. Crews encountered heavy fire throughout, with the structure starting to collapse. The fire was brought under control in about 20 minutes at which searches were completed and negative. Captain Moorhead had the Command. The fire in being investigated by the Delaware State Fire Marshals Office. Townsend Engien 26 covered Station 45 and handled an AFA in Brenford Woods.
