Thursday May 28th several members of the company took part in the funeral for Citizens Hose Company Life Member Memphis Evans. The services for Mr. Evans were held at Station 44 and he was buried at a cemetary several blocks from the station. Quint 45 along with Sudlerville MD Quint 6 had the honor of presenting the crossed ladders at the cemetary while Dover FD Ladder 1 assisted Smyrna's Ladder 44 with presenting the crossed ladders at Station 44.
