As the Nation prepares to remember the attacks on our country on September 11, 2001 we ask that everyone take a moment to remember the lives that were lost that day in New York City, Washington DC and Shanksville Pa. The First Responders Community especially remembers the 343 FDNY Firefighters, 37 NYPD Officers and the 23 PAPD Officers who gave their lives that day. This year because of the Covid Virus the normal Smyrna-Clayton 9/11 Ceremony at the Smyrna Fire Co. will be unable to be held. Instead the Smyrna Fire Co. will be holding a viral rememberance ceremony that will be aired on their Facebook page at 7pm on Friday September 11. Photo's from assorted media outlets.
