Several members gather on the evening of September 11 to pay respect and remembers those killed in the attacks on our contry in New York City, Washington DC and Shanksville PA. Usually our department takes part in the Smyrna/Clayton 9/11 Ceremony held at Smyrna Fire Statioon but because of the covid virus that ceremony was cancelled. Company members along with representatives from Clayton PD spent a moment of silence after Chief Carrow read a short message over the radio followed by the sounding of the last alarm.
