The nations bravest will once again pause this weekend to remember members of the fire service who have died in the line of duty during the last year. This year 103 fireifghters will be remember adding their names to the hundreds before them that died in the line of service. The annual event is held each October will be different from years past as the events will be virtual because of the covid virus. On Sunday, October 4, at 10:00 am EDT, the lives of 82 firefighters who died in the line of duty in 2019 and 21 firefighters who died in previous years will be remembered in the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation's production of "America's Tribute to Fallen Firefighters. This 45-minute special will be available to watch on www.firehero.org or through the NFFF's social media platforms. Our company each year lays a wreath on our memorial infront of the station to remembers that gave all.
