The Clayton Fire Company would like to congratulate member Ron Augustine on being named as a Chief Emeritus of his home company in PA. Ron moved to the Clayton area several years ago. Rons move was not by accident the Clayton Fire Company bought some hose from Ron's Lower ChiChester Fire Company and a friedship was formed. Ron has remined an active member and we are proud of his accomplishment.
Saturday night December 5th 2020, history was made once again for the Company as President Mark Lamplugh awarded Ron “Stick” Augustine as Chief Emeritus. Ron is only the 2nd Chief to have ever been awarded Chief Emeritus in the history of the company and joins President Lamplugh’s father George Lamplugh for this prestigious award. Ron was very instrumental in making the company what it is to this day and paving the way for the future of the fire company. We thank you Ron and greatly appreciate your many years of service.
