CLAYTON MORNS THE LOSS OF PAST PRESIDENT CLARENCE R. '

The members of the Clayton Fire Company morns the loss of Past President Clarence R. "Roddy" O'Neal.  Roddy served the company as president during our 100th Year Anniversary in 1991. Roddy was best know for his love of the Kent County and the DVFA Scholarship Programs. Roddy was a quiet man, but when he talked you listened and very raely got mad, but when he did he had a look that made you go the other way.  Roddy very rarely raised his voice. Several years ago Roddy married a yought lady from Hartly and became a member of the Hartly Vol. Fire Co. and served as a fire police officer for several years. Rod is survived by his wife Kathy, his brother Benny O'Neal, Sisters Lisa Lloyd, Beth Pandel, and Katie O'Neal and many nephews, and cousins. Roddy will be missed.

SERVICES: will be Tuesday July 13, 2021, Faries Funeral Home Smyrna, Viewing 10-12. with services to follow at Noon. Interment will be at the Galena Cemetary with a social at the Clatyon Fire Station following the interment. This is not a full firemans funeral. No equipment of manpower is needed to support the family.
