THE CLAYTON FIRE COMPANY HONORS PAST CHIEF/PRESIDENT WILLIAM R.

During the opening ceremonies of the Delaware Volunter Firefighters Association Past Chiaf/President Skip Carrow  was honored as the 2020 Firefighter of the Year for all of his contributions to the fire service and his community. The conference was cancelled in 2020 due to COVID so the award was predented this year. Skip is generational firefighter, his father served as chief and president of the fire company, president of the DVFA and the DelMarVa Association, as well as on the Clyton Town Council. Skip has followed in his father's footsteps as a past chief and president and on the town council, his son Alex is a past chief of the fire company. Fire chief John Pridemore stated " Skip's accomplishments can not be met by many in the fire service or in service to the community, he is an inspiration  to every member of Clayton". Please take a minute to congratulate him when you see him.
