During the annual Delaware State Fire Police meeting held on Wednesday September 15th Past President Robert L. Lightcap was awarded the Fire Polcieman of the Year Award from Kent County. Robert serves as a fire polcieman for the Clayton, Hartly and Smyrna Fire Companies. Robert is just one of those guys you can county on to help whenever you need him stated Clayton Chief John Pridemore. Robert is part of a fire servicde family his son Jeff has served as Clayton Fire Chief, his daughter in law Heather serves as a member of Clayton, his daughter Sharon is a member of the ladies auxliary and his granddaughter Sarah serves as a memebr of Clayton.
