Firday morning November 26 at 08:17 the station along with Tanker and Engine 44 were dispatched for the residental structure fire at 5003 Millington Road. Command 45 w/Asst. Chief Johnson arrived to find a one story SFD with an active fire in the kitchen and smoke in the residence. Engine 45, w/4, Crew Leader Glbert McClements arrived behind the chief and established a water supply and stretched a handline. Tanker 44 and Engine 44-3 arrived behind the first engine and secured the water supply to E-45 and assisted the crew their crew. Quint 45 w/3 Asst. Chief Austin Moorhead handled the 1st due special services. Squad 45 w/5, Chief John Pridemore also responded. The fire was contained to the stove area and cabinets around it. The Delaware State Fire Marshals Office responded and investigated. Assistant Chief Johnson had the Clayton Command.
