Saturday night just after midnight Station 45, Rescue 26, Ambulance 64, Kent County Medics and DSP Aviation were dispatched for the motor vehicle accident with entrapment in the 700 Block of Blackbird Forest Road. Command 45 w/Capt Brian Hunter, Rescue 26 and Rescue 45 w/4, A/C austin Moorhead and EMS assets arrived to find a single vehicle on its side with the occupant trapped inside. The crews from both units worked to stabilize the vehicle and performed a roof flap to free the occupant in about 30 minutes . Squad 45 w/4, A/C Carrow and Brush 45 w/2 FF Mike Thompson arrived behind the first units and assisted with extrication and establishing an landing zone for the helicopter. The lone occupant was transported to CER on Trooper 4. Capt. Hunter had the Command.
