DELAWARE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER MEMORIAL BIKE RIDE STOP BY STATION 45 TO REMEMBER CLAYTON PD OFFICER AND CLAYTON FIRE CO. MEMEBRS THAT WERE KILLE DIN THE LINE OF DUTY

The Delaware Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Bike ride is a yearly bike ride from Wilmington to the Delaware Beaches to remember Law Enforcement Officers that were killed in the line of duty.  During their 2 day ride the group stops off at several different locations to pay respoct and remember members of the Delaware Law Enforcement Community that were killed in the line of duty.  For the last couple years the riders have made a stop at the Clayton Fire Co. as a rest stop and to remember Clayton Police Officer Herbert Haynes who was killed in the Line of Duty in 1900.  Information on Officers Haynes death was read by Clayton Police Chief Carl Hutson.  During this years small service the group also honored Clayton Fire Chief John M Pridemore who Died on March 8, 2022 from injuries he sustained in a fall during a work detail the night before.  Chief Pridemores information was read by Deputy Chief Jeff Lightcap.  Photo's courtesy Past Chief/President Kevin Wilson.
