During the February fire company meeting Deputy Chief/Past Chief Jeff Lightcap who was acting fire chief in 2022 awarded the top 10 fire responders for 2022. Number 10 Past Chief William Timmons with 167 alarms, Number 9 Chief Engineer Mike Thompson with 172 alarms, Number 8 FF Jonathan Burnett with 173 alarms, Number 7 Past Chief Jeff Hurlock with 175 alarms, Number 6 Past Chief and current Vice President Rodney Whalen with 205 alarms, Number 5 Past Chief/President Skip Carrow with 206 alarms, Number 4 FF Vernon Berghorn with 209 alarms, Number 3 Past Chief and current Asst. Chief Alex Carrow with 212 alarms, we had a tie for 2nd place Asst Engineer Roland Timmons and FF/Fire Police Gary Everage with 233 alarms, and the top responder for 2022 was Deputy Chief/Past Chief Jeff Lightcap with 257 alarms.
