The Officers and Members of the company would like to congratulate Junior Firefighter Nate Reynolds on his graduation from the Delaware State Fire Schools first ever Accelerated Fire Academy. Nate along with 18 other Firefighters from up and down the state completed their stduies in just over a month a the training center in Dover. The classes were Monday thru Friday from 8am until 5pm each day. The students completed 168 hours of training in just over a month to achieve their certification of Pro-Board Firefighter I & II, Passenger Vehicle Technical Rescuer, Emergency Vehicle Operator, CPR/AED, ICS 100, 200, 700,800 and Hazardous Materials Operations. Normally these classes would take well over a year to complete under the normal class schedule. Congratulations to all the students on their dedication and congratulations to the staff at the Delaware State Fire School for coming up with and producing this academy.
