Each year at the March fire company meeting the members take tike to honor and recognize members the previous year who were the Top 10 in responding to fire calls. The year at the meeting held March 12, 2024, we honored 12 members who were in the Top 10 in fire alarm responses.
In 10th place was FF Aaron Schwartz with 189 calls, in 9th we had a 3-way tie with FF Reaghan King, FF Alison Pedigo, and Fire Chief Austin Moorhead with 247 calls, in 8th place past chief/Deputy Chief Alex Carrow with 248 calls, in 7th place FF Vernon Berghorn, in 6th place past president/chief William R. “Skip” Carrow II, 5th place with 277 calls was president/past chief Rodney W. Whalen, 4th FF Frank Sacco with 292 calls, in 3rd place past chief/1st Asst. Chief Robert J. Lightcap with 313 calls, 2nd place was FF/Crew Leader Mike Wynne with 326 calls, and our 1st place winner was fire police officer Gary Everage.
