Tuesday morning just prior to lunch the station along with an Ambulance from KCMD Sta 2 were dispatched for the auto accident involving a passenger vehicle and trash truck in the 2300 Block of Millington Rd. Command 45 w/Lt Sacco, Rescue 45 w/4 and Squad 45 w/5 arrived to find a passenger vehicle with heavy front end damage and the operator laying in the roadway. The crews from Rescue 45 & Squad 45 began patient care and secured the vehicles until the arrival of BLS and ALS from Ambulance 64 and KM6. Trooper 4 was requested and responded. The operator was airlifted to CER by Trooper 4. Lt. Sacco had the Clayton Command. Units responding; Command 45, Rescue 45, Squad 45, B-64, KM6, Trooper 4, Sta 45 Fire Police, DELDOT, Clayton PD, DSP.
