CHIEF PRIDEMORE HONORED AT THIS YEARS NATIONAL FALLEN FIRE FIGHTERS MEMORIAL

During the 2024 National Fallen Firefighters Memorial weekend Chief John M. Pridemore, who passed away on March 8, 2022, was honored along with 225 other Firefighters who died in the line of duty from last year and prior years.  The Pridemore family accompied by members of the company attended events on Saturday including a candle light memorial and concluded with the annual Fallen Firefighters Memorial Program.  The Pridemore Family escorted by Deputy Chief Carrow recieved an American Flag, a badge with Chief Pridemores name on it and a rose during the program.  As in year past the fire station was adorned in red to take part in the Light up the night for Fallen Firefighters and a wreath was place on the memorial infront of the station.  We have been placing a wreath in honor of all fallen firefighters each memorial weekend for several years, this now takes on and even more special occassion to honor our own Chief Pridemore.
