The Officers and Members of the Clayton Fire Co. are joining our Brothers and Sisters at the Citizens Hose Co. of Smyrna in mourning the passing of Past Chief and Life Member Gerald J. Mood. Chief Mood passed away on Monday September 30, 2024 surrounded by his family. Chief Mood, who was a life long member of the Citzens Hose Co. held many offices within the Citizens Hose Co. including line officers positions up to and including Fire Chief from 1971-1973 and again from 1979-1982. He also served as a Trustee and spent over 50 years on the Board of Directors. We ask that you please keep the Mood Family and the Citizens Hose Co. in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult tme.
