Friday, May 2, 2025

The Fire Service in America is once again taking time this weekend to recognize those mombers who made the ulltimate sacrifice over the last year and years past.   This year we will honor 70firefighters from 2024 and 70 firefighters who died in previous years that are being added to the memorial.  Tha National Fallen Firefighters Foundation will present each family with an American flag flown over the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial and the U.S. Capitol, along with a rose and medal.  The Clayton Fire Co. will once again honor those members who died in the line of duty, especially those from Delaware including our own Fire Chief John M. Pridemore by placing a wreath illuminated by a red light on the fire companies memorial at the front of the station.
