Tuesday afternoon 10/21 at 2:35pm the station along with Ambulance 64, KM6 and Trooper 4 were dispatched for the MVC involving a passenger car and school bus. Command 45 w/PC Johnson, Rescue 45 w/6, Squad 45 w/5 and Brush 45 w/5 made the response from Clayton assisted by EMS units from the American Legion Ambulance, Kent County Paramedics and Trooper 4. Crews arrived to find a passenger car and loaded school bus involved. EMS crews evaluated 2 occupants of the passenger car and the students on the school bus. EMS treated and transported one occupant from the passenger car. The students were turned over to the Transportation Manager from the Smyrna School District and a second bus responded to the scene to pickup the children and complete dropping them off from school. Past Chief Johnson had the Clayton Command. Units responding; Command 45, Rescue 45, Squad 45, Brush 45, A-64, B-64, D-64, EMS 64, KM6, Trooper 4, DSP, sta 44 & 45 Fire Police, Deldot.
