Thursday afternoon at 13:37 the station was dispatched for the large outside fire on Sunnyside Road and Ryan Road. Command 45 w/ Captain Austin Moorhead, Brush 45 with Chief Alex Carrow and Squad 45 w/6, Captain Johnathan Burnett made the response and arrived to find fire in a partially cut wheat field. Command requested the additional engine from the station along with several brush trucks and another engine respond to the scene. Crews were able to contain the fire quickly.
