The nation once again paused to remember the events of the terrorist attacks on our country on september 11, 2001. On that day almost 3,000 lives were lost in attacks at the Twin Towers in New York Ciity, The Pentigon in Virgina and in Shanksville Pa. During the attacks on the Twin Towers 343 members of the FDNY, 37 members of the NYPD and 23 members of the PAPD were killed attempting to rescue people trapped in the towers.
