CLAYTON VOLUNTEERS HAVE A BUSY THRUSDAY

Thursday June 20th was a busy day for Clayton, the day started at 0858 with an assit for a gas leak to the Citizens' Hose Company of Smyrna at the intersection of Rt-6 and Rt-300. Upon arraival Clayton units assisted with traffic control at this very busy intersection. Construction crews damaged a 1" natural gas line. Clayton units E-45, Squard45, Command 45, and traffic control 45 cleared the scene at 1001 hours. At 1116 hours Clayton was dispatched to Rt-300 and S. Rodney Street for an MVC along with the Citizen's Hose Company of Smyrna. Rescue 45, Command 45, and Traffic Crontrol 45 responded along with Ambulance 64 units. 1 BLS patient was treated. Then at 1142 hours Clayton units were dispateched to a wires down at 1028 Blackbird Forest Rd where they located wires and a pole down in the roadway. E-45, Command 45, and Squad 45 responded and were in service for 23 minutes. The final alarm for the company was at 1844 hours with an assist with the Citizen's Hose Company of Smyrna for a Structure fire at 27 Panama Street in Smyrna Upon arrival it was determined that a fire had occured in the home 2 hours earlier and the home owner needed assiastance with smole removal. Engine 45, Squad 45, and Traffic 454 responded, The company was in service for 26 minutes. The scene was turned over to the state fire marshal.
