Each month the members of the clayton fire company recognize a member from the previous month who went above and beyond. During the October company meeting fire police officer Gary Everage was honored as the September Member of the Month. Gary responded to 35 fire alarms, 1 miscellaneous function, 1 fund raising functions, and 1 company meeting for a total of 39 points for the month and 339 points for the year. Gary is a long time Clayton member and served as a firefighter for many years prior to moving over to be a fire police officer.
