The Delaware Fire Service is mourning the passing of the former Director of the Delaware State Fire School Louis J. Amabili who passed away today surrounded by his family. Mr. Amabili was the first Director of the the fire school and had a huge part in building it into what it is today. He was known across the nation for his commitment to training. Mr. Amabili was a Life Member of the Hockessin Fire Company and was a Honorary Life Member of this department along with numerous other companies in the state. Arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be posted once finished. We ask that you pleae keep the Amabili family, the Hockessin Fire Company Family and the Delaware Fire Service in your thoughts and prayers.
